Senior Supply Chain Solutions Architect

A. O. Smith seeks a Senior Supply Chain Solutions SAP Architect to lead design and optimization of SAP-based supply chain processes for a global manufacturing network. In this role, you will architect end-to-end planning, procurement, production, and logistics solutions, integrating SAP with MES, WMS, and other enterprise systems. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and IT to translate business requirements into scalable SAP designs, guide configuration, data, and testing activities, and drive continuous improvement, performance, and reliability across our supply chain landscape.

Responsibilities

• Architect SAP-based end-to-end supply chain solutions across planning, procurement, production, and logistics.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and operations leaders to translate business requirements into scalable SAP designs.
• Lead solution design, functional specifications, configuration direction, and integration with MES, WMS, TMS, and other systems.
• Oversee testing, data migration, cutover, and stabilization activities for new or enhanced SAP capabilities.
• Analyze supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging SAP and related tools.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to SAP and supply chain project teams.
• Ensure solution alignment with global architecture, security, and compliance standards at A. O. Smith.
• Support incident resolution and root cause analysis for critical supply chain system issues.
