Job description

Kickmaker is a high-tech product design and industrialization agency.
We support our customers from prototype to production run in our main vertical markets (medical, new mobility, electrification, agrotech, robotics, IOT and consumer devices) and our cross-disciplinary skills (embedded AI, high-tech manufacturing automation, eco-design, industrial design and WEB 3.0 for the economy of functionality).
We're evolving with a real maker culture! Passion, excitement and kindness are the pillars of KICKMAKER. This team and community spirit has enabled us to shape a unique corporate culture. Our approach: to enable everyone to fulfill their potential by working on exciting projects, and to encourage autonomy and initiative.
Present in France, China and the United States, our community counts over 250 passionate kickers and keeps growing. It is in this context that we are looking to strengthen our team in Boston, Seattle and San Fransisco.

Client Missions

  • Build and grow a strategic account portfolio and establish Kickmaker’s presence in the Pacific Northwest through a mix of outbound prospecting (phone, field, events), executive-level networking, and thought leadership (media, conferences, industry forums)
  • Lead discovery and sales meetings with senior stakeholders (CTOs, VPs Engineering, Program Directors, Procurement)
  • Analyze client needs in depth and shape tailored, value-based commercial offers in close coordination with our technical teams
  • Own the full sales cycle, from lead qualification to proposal, negotiation of commercial terms, and contract signature (MSAs, SOWs)
  • Oversee project delivery with partner organizations, ensuring alignment on scope, quality, timelines, and client satisfaction
  • Drive account expansion and long-term partnerships through regular business reviews and proactive relationship management
  • Monitor the market, competitive landscape, and industry trends to identify new opportunities and inform go-to-market strategy

Internal Missions at Kickmaker

  • Partner with the HR and Talent Acquisition teams on recruitment: candidate sourcing, technical and cultural interviews, and offer alignment
  • Build a strong, trust-based relationship with each Kicker
  • Support and follow up with each Kicker throughout their assignment with the partner, from onboarding to mission completion
  • Define and implement reporting processes and KPIs (pipeline, conversion, utilization, client satisfaction, retention) and present regular business updates to leadership
  • Lead and mentor the junior sales team, supporting their professional development and performance
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales and delivery processes, and ensure compliance with current HSE rules and company standards

Profile

  • Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in B2B sales, business development, or consulting, ideally within an engineering services, technical consulting, or professional services firm
  • Proven track record of selling complex technical services or solutions and closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Passion for new technologies and a strong ability to engage credibly with engineers and technical decision-makers
  • Strong understanding of the Seattle industrial and tech ecosystem; an established network across key accounts and partners is a significant plus
  • Engineering background, or experience in sectors combining mechanical, electronic, or robotics expertise
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing or coaching a sales team
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and executive presence
  • Resilient and composed under pressure, with the ability to navigate complex and fast-moving situations
  • Persistent, rigorous, and entrepreneurial: you take ownership and do whatever it takes to succeed at new challenges
Please be advised that the stated salary represents the fixed component of your annual remuneration only. In addition, you will be eligible for a variable component, contingent upon the achievement of agreed objectives, which together constitute your total compensation package
