Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and modify electrical and electronic assemblies, schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architectures for complex equipment.
Perform electrical system analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause investigation, and resolution of complex technical issues.
Develop and execute test plans, validation activities, and engineering evaluations to ensure system performance and reliability.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives (CIP) by providing innovative engineering solutions.
Design and support power distribution, control systems, instrumentation, high-voltage circuits, IO communication, cable harnesses, and electronic assemblies.
Collaborate with Cross functional teams - Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful project execution.
Lead engineering change activities, including ECO/ECN implementation and validation.
Create and maintain technical documentation, engineering specifications, test reports, and design records.
Contribute to value engineering, design-for-cost, and product optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
5 - 10 years of experience designing and developing complex industrial, semiconductor, medical, or automation systems.
Experience in electrical schematics, power systems, high voltage, instrumentation, control systems, and system integration.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis techniques.
Strong proficiency in CAD tools (Creo / Creo Schematics) and PLM systems (Windchill or Teamcenter or any other)
Ability to independently manage technical assignments and engineering projects.
Strong communication skills with experience working in global, cross-site teams
Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, adapts quickly to new challenges, and communicates effectively through impactful presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of the Applied Materials product life cycle or Capital equipment industry, including prototyping, material selection and manufacturing methods.
