Technical Business Analyst - API

Your new role We are seeking a high-performing Agile Business Analyst who thrives in complex delivery environments and can accelerate outcomes through smart use of AI, strong technical acumen, and elite stakeholder engagement.

This role sits within a fast-paced squad responsible for modernising legacy systems and building a scalable API ecosystem. You will play a critical role in translating complex business needs into clear, executable user stories, while partnering deeply with engineers and technical leads to ensure delivery success.

You will be someone who is dynamic, AI-savvy, and comfortable navigating ambiguity, with the ability to drive clarity across business, product, and engineering teams.

Key Skills & Experience

• Essential
• Proven experience as an Agile Business Analyst in complex delivery environments
• Strong experience writing high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
• Hands-on experience working with:APIs (design, integration, or delivery)Complex or legacy datasetsAbility to work deeply with engineers and technical leadsStrong stakeholder management and facilitation skills

Highly Desirable

• Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve productivity and delivery outcomes
• Experience in API-led architecture or modernisation programs
• Understanding of data modelling, system integration, and service design
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving delivery environments

Ways of Working

• Embedded within an Agile squad (Scrum/Kanban)
• Close collaboration with: Product Owner, Tech Lead, Engineers, Delivery Lead / Scrum Master
