Job Description

Seeking a Full Stack Software Developer AWS Cloud and GenAI integration experience. The selected candidate will perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software ranging from operating system architecture integration and software design to selection of computer systems, language, and/or equipment. Designs, develops/codes, tests, and documents critical and complex application programs for computer systems. Works with appropriate stakeholders to define system scope and objectives and establish baselines. Establishes project standards and processes. Breaks down software requirements and creates highly complex systems.

 

This position is a hybrid opportunity (1x per wk onsite in Reston VA) and is a 3 month project (until end of 2026).

 

Required Skills

7+ years of experience in the following:

 

- Must have experience with working on front end applications using Java/J2EE, Angular 17+, React and Bootstrap. Seeking candidates with strong UI front-end development experience. Must have experience with working on front end applications using JavaScript, JQuery, Angular v17+ and Bootstrap.

- Must have Java development experience with ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit /TestNg.

- Must have hands on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL Databases.

- Must have Gen AI, Agentic AI integration experience

- Must have experience with web services

- Must have extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Must have strong experience in continuous integration within DevOps environment.

- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).

- Good to have experience working with API Management Tools.

- Good to have Experience working with GIT/BitBucket.

- Cloud Migration / Integration effort - AWS Cloud Migration is a must - MongoDB is required - PostGres Required - GenAI services integration - Java, Tomcat, WebServices, Angular

- Moving java applications into cloud is a big part of this migration

- Strong backend and UI.

- Must have a Agile Scrum background (they do 2 stints per week)

- Healthcare is a plus

1. Frontend: Angular (they are using v19. Anything higher than 16 is acceptable), React (big plus), UI

3. Backend: Migrating out of DB2 into other relational DB-s like MongoDB / PostGresql
