Salesforce Administrator & Apex Developer

Position Overview - We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator & Apex Developer to support the ongoing administration, maintenance, and enhancement of a mission-critical Salesforce Workforce Management solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of the Salesforce platform, including troubleshooting production issues, implementing configuration changes, developing Apex solutions, optimizing system performance, and ensuring a secure, reliable, and scalable environment. This role requires a strong blend of Salesforce administration, Apex development, SOQL expertise, and stakeholder communication skills to support business operations and deliver high-quality solutions.

Position Responsibilities

·        Administer, configure, and maintain Salesforce applications supporting Workforce Management operations.

·        Design, configure, modify, and maintain Salesforce forms, page layouts, record types, Lightning pages, custom objects, and related components.

·        Configure and maintain field-level security, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, and business rules to ensure data integrity and compliance.

·        Develop, enhance, and maintain custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.

·        Develop and optimize SOQL queries, ensuring efficient data retrieval, performance optimization, and proper handling of complex relationships and cross-object queries.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, application defects, and user-reported problems in a timely manner.

·        Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve application stability and performance.

·        Manage Salesforce user accounts, profiles, permission sets, roles, service accounts, and security configurations.

·        Support Salesforce deployments, configuration changes, and release management activities following established change control processes.

·        Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.

·        Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, release notes, and system support documentation.

·        Monitor system health, data quality, and application performance while recommending continuous improvements.

·        Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.

·        Provide regular project status updates and communicate progress, risks, and issue resolution to project leadership.

·        Work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

·        Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

·        5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience supporting enterprise Salesforce environments.

·        3+ years of Salesforce Apex development experience.

·        Strong experience configuring Salesforce objects, page layouts, Lightning pages, forms, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, and field-level security.

·        Experience managing Salesforce profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and service accounts.

·        Strong proficiency in SOQL, including query optimization, relationship queries, aggregate functions, and performance tuning.

·        Experience troubleshooting production issues and resolving application defects in Salesforce environments.

·        Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Lightning App Builder.

·        Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture and data access models.

·        Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

·        Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, document solutions, and communicate project status.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Salesforce Certified Administrator.

·        Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.

·        Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (preferred).

·        Experience with Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

·        Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

·        Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, Git, version control, and CI/CD deployment processes.

·        Knowledge of Salesforce deployment tools such as Salesforce DX, Change Sets, Copado, or Gearset.
