Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering critical infrastructure and complex engineering projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design and delivery of critical electrical infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile schemes involving resilient power systems, HV/LV networks, standby generation, and other mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineers within the team.
• Oversee the production and review of electrical designs, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Support project management activities, ensuring delivery of the programme, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, technical assessments, and design reviews.
• Contribute to business development activities, client relationship management, and project bids.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practice.
