Pay Rate: $76.40 - $81.5/hour (OT40)
Top Requirements:

5+ years of Java development experience in enterprise application environments.

Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.

Experience designing and building portal-based applications, inventory management solutions, or governance platforms.

Strong understanding of governance, compliance, operational controls, and tracking frameworks.

Experience supporting applications through the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Plusses:

Experience with certificate management, SSL/TLS certificates, or expiration tracking systems.

Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native application development.

Experience with Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.

Experience working in regulated financial services environments.

Job Summary:
This Software Engineer 4 role supports a strategic initiative to build a centralized enterprise solution for managing expiration dates, renewals, governance controls, and compliance tracking across certificates, licenses, and other critical assets. The goal is to create a scalable inventory repository that provides automated monitoring, notifications, reporting, and governance capabilities.
The engineer will play a key role in designing and developing the platform architecture, building both front-end and back-end components, and helping define the long-term framework for enterprise expiration management. Success in this role requires strong Java and Angular expertise combined with the ability to understand governance, compliance, and operational control requirements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Microservices.
• Build and maintain a centralized inventory and expiration tracking platform.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services supporting certificate and compliance management workflows.
• Design responsive and user-friendly portal interfaces using Angular.
• Implement governance, reporting, notification, and workflow capabilities.
• Develop database solutions utilizing JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.
• Participate in architecture discussions and help define scalable application frameworks.
• Support automated testing, production deployments, troubleshooting, and operational support activities.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and governance stakeholders.
• Participate in release activities and provide occasional after-hours support during production releases.
• Create technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational guides.
