Azure Data Engineer

·         Candidate Must have over 10 years of experience in IT

Mandatory Skills:

·         7+ years of hands-on experience in ML, OCR, NLP, computer vision, or intelligent document processing.

·         Strong Python, SQL, REST API, JSON, and Azure SDK skills.

·         Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence or similar document-processing platforms.

·         Knowledge of model training, evaluation metrics, labelled datasets, and complex table extraction.

·         Experience processing invoices, contracts, purchase orders, or supply-chain documents.

Key Responsibilities

·    Develop and optimize document classification and data extraction models using Azure AI Document Intelligence, Python, and machine learning.

·         Extract invoice details, contract metadata, line items, tables, payment terms, and legal clauses with high accuracy.

·         Build data preprocessing, validation, confidence-scoring, and human-in-the-loop review workflows.

·         Implement model evaluation pipelines, targeting 98–99%+ extraction accuracy for critical business fields.

·         Leverage Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, MLflow, Azure AI Search, and Azure OpenAI/GenAI for intelligent document automation.

·         Monitor model performance, analyze extraction errors, manage model drift, and continuously improve accuracy.

·         Collaborate with procurement, supply-chain, accounts-payable, legal, and engineering teams.
