The candidate will collaborate with legal stakeholders, engineering teams, data scientists, product managers, and business leaders to deliver AI-powered solutions that improve legal workflows, contract management, legal research, matter management, eBilling, and document analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of AI/ML programs supporting Legal Operations and Legal Technology initiatives.

  • Partner with legal teams, corporate counsel, legal operations professionals, and technical stakeholders to identify business requirements and AI use cases.

  • Manage cross-functional teams across AI/ML engineering, data science, software engineering, product management, and legal business functions.

  • Drive the implementation of Generative AI and LLM-based solutions for legal document analysis, contract review, legal research, knowledge management, and workflow automation.

  • Translate complex legal and business requirements into technical roadmaps, milestones, deliverables, and execution plans.

  • Collaborate with legal subject matter experts to define evaluation criteria, testing strategies, quality metrics, and acceptance standards for AI-generated outputs.

  • Manage integrations with enterprise systems, legal matter management platforms, contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, eBilling platforms, and document repositories.

  • Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure AI solution adoption, productivity improvements, operational efficiency, and business impact.

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, technical reviews, program governance, and executive presentations.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate and optimize existing legal workflows using AI technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, program management, or delivery management.

  • Demonstrated experience managing AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, or enterprise technology programs.

  • Prior experience in the legal industry, Legal Operations, Legal Technology, or corporate legal departments is required.

  • Experience working with legal workflows such as contract management, matter management, eBilling, legal research, document review, or legal knowledge management.

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI solution evaluation.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, product, business, and legal functions.

  • Strong program planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and measurable outcomes.
