Job Title: User Experience Design Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: Three years, with an option for three renewals of one year each.

Project Scope:

• Seeking an experienced UX Design Consultant for the WA Cares Fund.
• Improve the accessibility, usability, and overall user experience of digital services.
• Conduct user research, discovery, assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
• Evaluate user needs and identify UX improvement opportunities.
• Develop a strategic UX project plan with recommendations.
• Create and prioritize future UX initiatives and implementation roadmap.
• Future work may include user journey mapping, wireframes, usability testing, accessibility testing, and user research.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

• Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
• Demonstrate at least three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years providing user experience (UX) planning and design, human-cantered design, customer experience (CX), or digital experience consulting services.
• Demonstrate successful completion of at least two (2) major projects within the last five (5) years involving user experience, customer experience, digital transformation, or customer journey analysis in the health care, long-term care, health and human services, social services, insurance, or related regulated service sector.
• Demonstrate experience working within government, healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated industries where statutory, policy, legal, privacy, accessibility, or operational requirements materially influenced project delivery.
• Identify personnel available to perform the services during the contract term and demonstrate that proposed personnel collectively possess experience in user research, UX design, stakeholder engagement, and digital service improvement.
