The Role

  • Provide high-level systems thinking to integrate contributions from a cross-disciplinary development team.
  • Translate customer and stakeholder expectations into actionable requirements and operational concepts.
  • Collaborate with customers, regulators, and program managers to define top-level requirements.
  • Define design deliverables necessary for successful project execution.
  • Perform architectural design and requirement specification for complex systems-of-systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers to define system interfaces and mitigate technical risks.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • Minimum of two years of related engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and define complex systems-of-systems.
  • Proven ability to translate client expectations into verifiable requirements.
  • General understanding of Systems Requirements, Architecture, Interface Definition, and Design.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Department of Energy or Department of Defense security clearance.
