Position Details:

Systems/Applications Architect-Remote-Nashville TN

Location : Nashville, TN 37243 - Remote

Project Duration : 2 months contract

Pay Rate : $50-$55/hr on W2

The UiPath Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that improve operational efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and citizen service delivery across state government agencies. This role supports both traditional linear automation workflows and emerging Agentic AI solutions using UiPath s automation platform.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement UiPath automation solutions for state government
  business processes.
• Build and maintain automations including attended, unattended, and scheduled bots for
  repetitive, rules-based workflows.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions using
• UiPath Studio, UiPath Studio Web, Orchestrator, and related technologies.
• Develop process workflows, exception handling, logging, auditing, and monitoring capabilities for enterprise-grade automation.

Create reusable automation components, libraries, & templates to support enterprise
automation initiatives.

• Support integration of UiPath solutions with government systems, databases, APIs, document management systems, and cloud services.
• Implement secure automation practices aligned with state cybersecurity, privacy, and
  compliance standards.
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of automation
• Monitor bot performance, resolve production issues, and optimize automation reliability and
• Develop technical documentation and workflow diagrams.
• Support citizen service modernization initiatives through intelligent automation technologies.

Agentic AI Responsibilities

• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions using UiPath Autopilot, AI Center, Document Understanding, Communications Mining, and generative AI capabilities.
• Develop AI-powered agents capable of autonomous decision-making, contextual reasoning, and multi-step task orchestration within defined governance controls.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), AI services, and intelligent document processing into automation workflows.
• Build human-in-the-loop workflows that combine AI agents with employee oversight and
  approval processes.
• Develop intelligent agents capable of interpreting unstructured data, emails, forms, documents, and citizen communications.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI orchestration
  techniques within UiPath ecosystems.
• Ensure responsible AI practices including transparency, auditability, bias mitigation, security,
  and compliance with government policies.
• Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies to improve state operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Assist with establishing enterprise standards and governance for Agentic AI implementations across agencies.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• UiPath Studio, Studio X, Orchestrator, AI Center, Action Center, and Document Understanding
• RE Framework and enterprise RPA design patterns
• API integrations, REST/SOAP services, SQL databases
• OCR technologies and intelligent document processing
• Generative AI, LLM integration, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration
• Programming/scripting languages such as C#, VB.NET, Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
• Cloud platforms and enterprise authentication/security concepts
• Agile/Scrum development methodologies
