Job Description

Business Analyst

Pay: 45,000 - 50,000 Per Annum

Working Hours - Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

THN are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to work in Full-Time in our Head Office in Luton.

We are the Housing Network (THN), a purpose-led organisation working in partnership with the YMCA to support our communities. We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking for experienced and passionate people to help us support vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Lead process reviews through stakeholder interviews, workshops and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Map and document current and future business processes, highlighting risks, gaps and areas for simplification.
  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements, translating operational needs into clear solutions and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides and knowledge resources.
  • Support system and process change projects, including impact assessments, business cases and implementation planning.
  • Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Support adoption of new processes and systems through training, communications, user support and continuous improvement activities

The Business Analyst will have:

  • Experience in a Business Analyst, process improvement, change or operational analysis role
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements through interviews and workshops
  • Experience producing process maps, workflows, SOPs or user guidance
  • Experience supporting change implementation, testing or system improvement
  • Strong analytical, written and organisational capability
  • Social, supported or wider housing-sector experience (Desirable)
  • Experience with housing management, CRM, ERP or other operational systems (Desirable)
