• Rate: £600/day, Inside IR35
• Duration: 6 months (Extension possible)
• Location: Hybrid - UK hubs (Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester)
• Clearance: BPSS + SC (extended vetting - onboarding may take longer than usual)

Public sector programme seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join a Central Architecture function, setting technical direction and governance across a large, multi-supplier digital estate. You'll produce and review architecture and design artefacts, provide architectural governance and assurance across delivery workstreams, work with delivery teams to ensure designs meet non-functional requirements around security, performance, resilience and scalability, engage with enterprise and solution architects to keep designs aligned to the target architecture and roadmap, support design authority boards and technical decision-making forums, and provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.

You'll need:

• Strong hands-on and leadership experience as a technical architect within large, complex, regulated environments
• A track record of producing high-quality architecture artefacts and influencing technical direction at scale
• Experience working within multi-supplier delivery models and formal governance processes
• Previous public sector experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences#
