Senior Software Engineer
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining .NET/C# applications, supporting API development, and remediating complex legacy stored procedures. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader capable of independent analysis, architecture design, and mentoring junior developers. This position will eventually participate in an on-call rotation after an acclimation period.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET/C# applications.
• Support API development and integration work.
• Maintain and remediate complex legacy stored procedures consisting of thousands of lines of code.
• Review and analyze their own data output rather than relying on separate analysts.
• Perform architecture and solution design activities.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Participate in production support and ongoing application maintenance.
• Work on interoperability-related efforts where needed.
• Eventually participate in the team's on-call rotation after becoming acclimated to the environment.

Required Qualifications
Core Technical Requirements:

• .NET
• C#
• SQL
• API development experience
• Visual Studio experience
• Experience supporting and maintaining large database objects and stored procedures.
