Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 11+ years of experience to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives, including Mainframe Transformation, Azure Cloud Modernization, and large-scale application modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, extensive Agile delivery experience, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical projects from initiation and planning through successful delivery.

• Manage Azure Cloud Modernization, Mainframe Transformation, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum initiatives.

• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, vendors, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, Gantt charts, dashboards, RAID logs, and executive status reports.

• Drive stakeholder communication, project documentation, governance, and status reporting.

• Support Azure DevOps, CI/CD, application modernization, and deployment initiatives.

• Identify project risks and issues and develop mitigation and resolution strategies.

• Manage resource planning, vendor coordination, budgeting, and project governance.

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Must-Have Skills

• 11+ years of Technical Project Management experience.

• 8+ years managing Azure/cloud-based technology projects.

• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Hands-on project exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD, .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server.

• Experience leading complex technical, enterprise, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong expertise in resource planning, budgeting, vendor management, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

• Experience developing project schedules, dashboards, Gantt charts, and executive-level reporting.

• Strong understanding of cloud modernization, application development, infrastructure, and enterprise technology environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mainframe Modernization / Transformation initiatives.

• Previous experience working with State Government clients.

• Experience managing large-scale enterprise application modernization and cloud migration programs.

• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification is a plus.
