Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant to support a large-scale warehouse management implementation within a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), strong functional consulting capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering successful warehouse management solutions from design through post-go-live support.

This is a highly functional role focused on business process alignment, system configuration, testing, user support, and stakeholder collaboration. The position requires a consultant who can quickly contribute in an active implementation environment and drive successful warehouse operations through SAP EWM best practices.

• Strong SAP EWM Functional expertise with hands-on configuration and warehouse process support experience.
• Experience leading and supporting multiple full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Excellent business process analysis and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate warehouse operational requirements into scalable SAP EWM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP EWM Functional Consulting

• Analyze, design, configure, and support SAP EWM solutions.
• Support warehouse operations including:
  • Inbound receiving
  • Inventory management
  • Storage and putaway processes
  • Picking and packing
  • Material movements
  • Shipping and distribution processes
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
• Recommend process improvements and system optimization opportunities.

Implementation & Project Delivery

• Participate in all phases of SAP EWM implementation projects:
  • Requirements gathering
  • Solution design
  • System configuration
  • Integration testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Cutover and go-live activities
  • Hypercare and post-production stabilization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Testing, Issue Resolution & Support

• Lead and support functional testing efforts.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP EWM process and configuration issues.
• Coordinate issue resolution across business and technical teams.
• Provide ongoing production support and end-user assistance.
• Ensure system reliability and operational continuity.

Stakeholder Management & Knowledge Transfer

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business users, leadership, and project teams.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and solution reviews.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to business stakeholders and support teams.
• Promote SAP EWM best practices and process standardization.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP EWM functional consulting experience.
• Hands-on SAP EWM configuration and implementation expertise.
• Experience supporting warehouse and distribution operations.
• Proven success delivering multiple full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, and production support experience.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or supply chain environments.
• SAP EWM certification is a plus.
