The Role

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance for security systems.
• Diagnose and resolve application and system issues, working both independently and collaboratively.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize system availability and identify potential faults.
• Perform routine configuration changes, including user permissions and application settings.
• Document all system modifications accurately within a digital change control system.
• Conduct pre-deployment testing and on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.

What You'll Need

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
• Familiarity with commercial fire alarm systems (Bosch, Silent Knight preferred; Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, etc., a plus).
• Understanding of network communications and IP addressing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
