AI/ML Solutions Architect - Public Sector (AWS)

As a Delivery Consultant focused on AI/ML for AWS's Worldwide Public Sector ProServe team, you will lead customer engagements that design, build, and deploy machine learning solutions on AWS. You'll work directly with government, education, and nonprofit customers to understand mission needs, architect secure and scalable AI/ML workloads, and guide them from prototype to production using services like SageMaker and AWS data analytics tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional AWS teams, enable customer teams through best practices and mentorship, and contribute to reusable assets that accelerate AI/ML adoption across the public sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML solutions for public sector customers on AWSEngage with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution architectures
• Design and implement data pipelines, feature engineering, and model training workflows
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize ML models in production using AWS services
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and reliability standards for public sector environments
• Collaborate with AWS account teams, solution architects, and product teams during engagements
• Create reusable assets, reference architectures, and best practices for AI/ML delivery
• Mentor customer and internal teams on AI/ML patterns, MLOps, and cloud-native practices
• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and status reporting for delivery engagements
• Support pre-sales and discovery activities by shaping AI/ML proposals and statements of work
