The Opportunity

We're looking for a Salesforce Administrator to help us get the most out of one of the platforms that plays a critical role in how FLG operates and connects with our members. Working across our portfolio of fitness and wellness brands, you'll be responsible for keeping Salesforce stable, effective and continuously improving. You'll take business requirements and turn them into practical platform enhancements that make a real difference to how our teams work - from improving workflows and automation to strengthening reporting, permissions and the overall user experience. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of technology and the business. You'll work closely with our Business Analysis, Engineering and stakeholder teams to deliver changes safely and efficiently, while helping ensure Salesforce continues to support the evolving needs of our clubs, teams and members. Key Responsibilities General Duties
  • Implement Salesforce configuration changes based on approved requirements from the BA team.
  • Collaborate with BAs to clarify technical feasibility, constraints and impact.
  • Engage stakeholders where necessary to validate assumptions or confirm behaviour.
  • Configure Salesforce using declarative tools (fields, layouts, validation rules, flows, permissions, reports).
  • Develop and test changes in sandbox environments.
  • Commit metadata changes to Git and raise pull requests for review.
  • Follow CI/CD validation and participate in scheduled production releases.
  • Perform controlled production changes under approved change governance.
  • Reconcile any direct production updates back into version control.
  • Escalate architectural or integration-impacting changes to Engineering.

  • Develop and peer-review Apex classes and Lightning Web Components for small-to-medium enhancements, with architectural changes escalated to Engineering

  • CI/CD pipeline ownership
Success Measures
  • Timely delivery of BA-defined enhancements.
  • High-quality, low-defect releases.
  • Strong alignment between configuration changes and documented requirements.
  • Maintained integrity between Production and version control.
Qualifications & Experience Essential
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience administering Salesforce in a multi-brand, membership-based fitness or wellness organisation
  • Experience assisting with Salesforce implementation
  • Direct experience in fitness club operations or member-facing roles
  • Experience with various legacy software, including; Gymsales, Clubware, Debitsuccess
  • Experience managing changes through Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Salesforce CLI, pull-request review)
  • Understanding of data models and system dependencies
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into configuration changes
  • Able to collaborate across BA and Engineering teams
  • Ability to review code changes submitted by other developers
  • Understanding of change governance and controlled production change processes
  • Working knowledge of FLG's Salesforce org structure, deployment model, and support processes (highly regarded)
  • Brisbane-based with capacity to work from the Support Office
Desirable
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling
  • Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio) and/or Data Cloud exposure
  • Omni-Channel and CTI telephony operational support
  • Agentforce / Einstein AI agent configuration
  • Web development foundations (JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS)
  • Microsoft Power Automate experience
