Job Title: Business Execution Consultant- Securities Operations Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months (Possible to extend or convert to Full Time)

Job Description:
What are the top 3 to 5 skills, experience or education required for this position?
Prompt Engineering and AI Enablement (Copilot or similar tools):

  • Ability to design structured prompts with clear rules, constraints, and guardrails to ensure accurate, source-based outputs and minimize hallucination risk.
Operational Process Mapping and Analysis:
  • Strong ability to break down complex operational workflows into structured, repeatable frameworks including LOB, scenarios, steps, systems, and escalation paths.
Data Structuring and Knowledge Management (Excel or similar tools):
  • Experience organizing and normalizing data into structured formats that support AI-driven solutions and consistent decision making.
Securities Operations and Trade Lifecycle Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of trade processing, settlement, and operational risk controls across multiple functions within Securities Operations.
Analytical Problem Solving and Risk Management:
  • Ability to assess complex operational issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions while balancing accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
What is nice to have (but not required) skill, experience, education, or certification?
Experience implementing AI or Copilot solutions in an operational environment:
  • Including building knowledge-based tools or workflow optimization solutions.
Contact Center or Frontline Support Experience:
  • Understanding of call flows, agent needs, and how operational guidance is consumed in real-time environments.
Experience with automation or workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate, SharePoint, knowledge bases):
  • Supporting scalability and integration of operational processes.
Is prior experience in financial services or previous employment with client considered a requirement or an asset?
  • Previous client experience is considered a strong asset, as it may accelerate onboarding and familiarity with internal systems and processes.

In this role, candidates will:
  • Lead complex lifecycle initiatives and support tasks, including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as a key participant in large-scale planning and deliverables; identify opportunities for process improvements within Securities Operations, including AI-enabled optimization.
  • Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term operational tasks or challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented scenarios.
  • Make decisions in complex situations related to full trade processes while leveraging a strong understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor
  • Translate operational processes into structured, scalable frameworks that support consistency, knowledge reuse, and AI-driven solutions
  • Manage and develop expertise in key operational processes including client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Resolve complex escalated issues within the scope of responsibility in Securities Operations.
  • Research complex business risks, develop policies, enhance customer satisfaction, and review time-sensitive documents and transaction requests.
  • Exercise independent judgment in understanding trade settlement and influence workflow controls to minimize the effects of operational breakdowns.
  • Lead overall effectiveness of the team according to plans; monitor daily securities and cash-related production work.
  • Lead implementation of projects, new or revised processes, and procedures that require coordination across operational teams; perform analysis for initiatives that support business strategies and involve financial impact and risk considerations.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 plus years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 4 plus years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:
  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Business Execution and contribute to large-scale planning related to Business Execution deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Business Execution challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Business Execution deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Business Execution.


Pay Range: $55 - $60/hr on W2


The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
