Job Description

Description:
Hybrid 2 days onsite / 3 days remote in Washington, DC

Our client seeks a Microsoft M365 Trainer to develop and deliver training that improves workplace efficiency across Microsoft 365 and other enterprise applications. The trainer will collaborate with IT and stakeholders to assess needs, design curriculum, facilitate in-person and virtual classes, and provide post-session support. The role includes creating learning materials, managing assessments and feedback, and maintaining documentation and reports while staying current on relevant application updates.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $35.00 to $38.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives.
  • Design comprehensive curricula for Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications aligned to organizational goals.
  • Develop training materials including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual sessions, including department-specific and 1:1 training.
  • Customize content for different learning styles and proficiency levels.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations, simulations, and ongoing support to trainees.
  • Implement assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and monitor progress.
  • Gather feedback and refine content and delivery methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions, attendance, and participant feedback.
  • Report on training activities, outcomes, and recommendations.
  • Document best practices, tips, and troubleshooting guidance for end users.
  • Stay current on updates to IT applications and pursue continuous learning.

Experience Requirements:
  • 6 to 10 years as a Microsoft M365 Applications and Services Technical Trainer.
  • Corporate IT training experience.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise tools such as CRM and ERP systems.
  • Clear communication and presentation capabilities for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative approach and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt content and delivery to learner needs.
  • Patient, approachable, and supportive training style.
  • Preferred: Experience with instructional design principles and learning management systems.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may substitute.
