Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative will work with an assigned portfolio of existing member companies and identify opportunities to expand their use of TruPointe's supplier and purchasing programs.
This is not an inbound sales role and not an SDR seat. You'll own a defined account list, proactively reach out to customers, uncover opportunities, overcome resistance, and drive accounts through activation.
Many customers already have a relationship with the organization through one purchasing category. Your job is to help them recognize where additional categories could create value and earn their commitment to take the next step. The sales motion is transactional and relationship-driven, with an emphasis on creating demand rather than waiting for customers to raise their hands.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage and develop an assigned portfolio of existing member accounts
· Proactively contact customers through phone, email, and other outreach
· Identify opportunities to expand customers into additional purchasing categories
· Ask strong discovery questions to uncover the real reason an account has not moved forward
· Use customer success stories and proven outcomes to build credibility
· Overcome objections and create urgency without relying on aggressive sales tactics
· Own opportunities through activation rather than simply handing off qualified meetings
· Maintain consistent follow-up across a high-volume account portfolio
· Manage pipeline, activity, and account information accurately within the CRM
· Consistently work toward monthly activation and revenue goals
THE QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, persuasive, and competitive.

Ideal candidates will have

· Previous B2B sales experience
· Experience owning a sales or closing quota
· History of exceeding measurable KPIs and targets
· Experience managing a defined territory, account list, or book of business
· Strong outbound prospecting and follow-up habits
· Confidence initiating conversations with customers
· Ability to build rapport quickly and influence decision-makers
· Strong objection-handling and discovery skills
· Experience using a CRM as part of the daily sales process
· Ability to work quickly across a large number of accounts
· Strong personal accountability and comfort working toward measurable goals
· Ability to work in-office in Franklin, TN
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
· This is a high-activity environment, but it is not about blindly making calls.
· Top performers will be able to build relationships quickly, uncover what is preventing an account from moving forward, use proof and customer stories effectively, and consistently turn conversations into measurable account activations.
