Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Databricks expertise and pharmaceutical domain experience, preferably in Oncology, to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and workflows using Databricks.

• Build and optimize data transformation and integration processes using SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.

• Leverage pharmaceutical domain knowledge, preferably in Oncology, to work with pharma-related datasets and business processes.

• Ensure data quality, accuracy, reliability, and performance across data engineering solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective, scalable solutions.

• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and optimize workflows for performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in data engineering.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.

• Pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in Oncology.

• Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows and scalable data pipelines.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Raleigh, NC, or Philadelphia, PA.
