Summary: • Design, implement, and optimize robust data ingress and egress pathways. • Leverage a suite of technologies including Dataflow, Apache Spark, Linux, Bash, Python, and Java for data pipeline development. • Manage and process large-scale distributed Big Data, encompassing SQL technologies and advanced data wrangling techniques. • Utilize modern source contr ol practices with Git. • Desired experience includes High Performance Computing (HPC) job scheduling and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence. Qualifications && Compensation: Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Years of experience: 7+ years Salary: $254k+ yearly compensation Job Description: • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data ingress and egress solutions. • Implement and optimize data processing pipelines using Dataflow and Apache Spark. • Develop and maintain scripts and applications in Linux, Bash, Python, and Java environments. • Manage and administer SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL. • Perform efficient data wrangling, transformation, and storage using Parquet format. • Implement and enforce source code contr ol best practices using Git. • Apply expertise in distributed Big Data processing. • (Desired) Schedule and manage High Performance Computing (HPC) jobs with Slurm. • (Desired) Collaborate effectively using Atlassian tools such as JIRA for task tracking and Confluence for documentation.
