The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position and maneuver containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Stack, move, and organize containers according to yard plans and operational needs.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage container movements and daily tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Open availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
