Senior Staff Accountant to work with the Finance Department. We are looking for a team player with accounting experience to join our team. This is a full-time position, based out of our Lewiston office.

Produce accurate and timely program financial and allocation reports, analyzing financial information, and advising on any irregularities
Participating in monthly management reviews of financial reports as well as preparing monthly journal entries, maintaining the Agency’s fixed assets, and processing monthly depreciation to programs. Verifying programmatic transactions and posting appropriately, as well as reconciling monthly bank statements to support month end closing process.

Maintain effective operation of fund accounting software and provide support to department and program staff as needed. Partner with Manager to prepare for annual audits and ensuring all financial and performance reports are filed in a tiemly fashion.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred or five to seven years of commensurate experience may be substituted for college training.
