SAP HCM / SAP SuccessFactors / Eightfold AI Technical Support Engineer

Job Description

• Provide end-to-end technical and application support for SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Eightfold AI, and related integrations.
• Troubleshoot issues across SAP HCM functional areas, SuccessFactors modules, and Eightfold AI talent intelligence capabilities.
• Support integrations and data flows between SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Eightfold AI, and other enterprise applications.
• Analyze application logs, API responses, interface errors, and system behavior to identify root causes and implement resolutions.
• Work with SQL queries to validate data, investigate discrepancies, support reporting, and perform data-level troubleshooting where database access is available.
• Troubleshoot REST APIs, JSON payloads, integration failures, and data synchronization issues.
• Support Eightfold AI modules, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Design.
• Assist with SAP SuccessFactors configuration, data validation, employee data flows, and integration-related issues.
• Investigate HR data inconsistencies involving employee records, organizational structures, job profiles, candidate information, and talent management processes.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams, HR technology teams, developers, customers, and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor ticket queues, prioritize incidents based on business impact, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring incidents.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Support system configuration, integration testing, regression testing, and deployment activities when required.
• Independently manage technical issues from initial investigation through resolution, with minimal supervision.

• Hands-on experience supporting SAP Human Capital Management (SAP HCM).
• Understanding of employee master data, organizational management, personnel administration, and HR business processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot HR data issues, application errors, and integration-related problems.
• Familiarity with SAP HCM data structures and interfaces.

• Experience supporting SAP SuccessFactors and its integration with enterprise HR systems.
• Understanding of employee central data, employee lifecycle processes, and HR data management.
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, or other talent management modules.
• Experience troubleshooting data synchronization, interface failures, configuration issues, and application errors.
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, such as SAP Integration Suite/CPI or OData APIs, is beneficial.

• Hands-on experience with the Eightfold AI platform.
• Understanding of the following Eightfold AI modules:
• Talent Acquisition
• Talent Management
• Talent Design
• Ability to troubleshoot platform issues, talent data discrepancies, integrations, and application behavior.
• Experience supporting talent intelligence, recruiting workflows, candidate data, and related HR technology processes.

• Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation, querying, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with JSON data structures and payload validation.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, API testing, and integration troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze application logs, error messages, API responses, and interface failures.
• Experience with technical support, application support, production support, or enterprise application operations.
• Understanding of system integrations, data mapping, data transformation, and data synchronization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong communication, documentation, ownership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with HR technology, talent intelligence, recruiting, and workforce management platforms.
• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite/CPI, SAP BTP, OData, IDocs, or other SAP integration technologies.
• Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and Recruiting integrations.
• Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of SaaS application architecture and enterprise application support processes.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level customers, global HR teams, or geographically distributed stakeholders.
• Knowledge of incident management, problem management, change management, and ITIL practices.
• Experience supporting integrations across multiple HR and talent management platforms.

• SAP HCM technical/application support.
• SAP SuccessFactors support and HR data management.
• Eightfold AI platform experience, preferably across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Design.
• SQL, JSON, REST APIs, and integration troubleshooting.
• Experience in technical support, application support, or production support.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Recruiting.
• SAP Integration Suite/CPI, OData APIs, or related integration technologies.
• HR Tech/SaaS platforms and talent intelligence solutions.
• Ticketing, monitoring, incident management, and SLA tracking.
