*About the Role:*

SCC Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) is seeking a Contract Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain reporting & analytics solutions for business divisions across the agency.

 

*Required Skills:*

- Power BI - Reports, Dashboards, Semantic Models

- DAX, Power Query (M), Data Modeling

- Dataverse - Build on existing tables / relationships / security

- SQL Server, Azure Blob Storage, Cosmos DB

- Row-Level Security (RLS), Workspace Management, Performance Tuning

- Agile / Jira

 

*Responsibilities:*

- Design and maintain Power BI reports/dashboards/semantic models on Dataverse and other sources (SQL Server, Azure Blob, Cosmos DB)

- Develop and optimize DAX measures, relationships, and Power Query transformations

- Implement solutions per established workspace structure, dataset management, and RLS standards

- Troubleshoot refresh, performance tune existing reports, and resolve defects

- Partner with business stakeholders to translate business questions into visualizations

- Document data sources, measures, models, and refresh dependencies

- Support short-duration, time-sensitive reporting requests and end-user adoption

 

*Preference:* Local RVA candidates OR within 2 hours drive to Richmond for onsite meetings when required.
