This position works in a manufacturing setting and is part of a team that ensures Geoprobe® machines and machine components parts are prepped, painted and checked to customer specifications in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Follow safety guidelines for safe operation of all equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean work space ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Implement ideas for improvement to ensure that quality of products is maintained.
- Work as assigned in both preparation and painting.
- Preparation
- Operate blast and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain and service blast and cleaning systems.
- Keep work space clean and safe.
- Prepare components for paint by applying masking and plugs and placing components on conveyors and carts.
- Painting
- Maintain and service painting systems.
- Handle paints and solvents.
- Spray primers and top coat on components.
- Label and store components for team members use.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and practices.

- Able to read blue prints & paint prints.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
Qualifications
- High School diploma (or GED)
- Minimum of 1 year of painting experience in a manufacturing operation.
