  • 5+ years of progressive land surveying experience (boundary, topographic, construction staking) in California, preferably Southern California.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, survey data processing software, GPS/GNSS workflows, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of California land surveying laws, practices, and mapping standards.• Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record; ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with LiDAR, drone/UAV surveying, or GIS applications.
  • Prior project management or crew leadership experience.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid field/office role based in Southern California (San Diego, Orange County or Riverside area preferred). Regular travel to project sites is required. Full-time, with flexibility for field schedules.
  • Performance or project-based bonuses (5–15% of base).
  • Vehicle allowance, company vehicle, or mileage reimbursement.
  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision; 401(k) with company match; paid time off / holidays; professional development and licensure support, pension, employee discount.
  • Travel-related: per diem or expense reimbursement for overnight trips; flexible scheduling for field work.
