Citizenship Required Security Clearance: Secret Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Application and Infrastructure Developer to support the modernization of a legacy .NET and AngularJS application into a modern, cloud-native, AI-enabled solution. In this role, you will leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accelerate application development, design scalable cloud infrastructure, and establish an application architecture capable of supporting an intelligent AI agent that can respond to end-user questions directly within the application.

The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), .NET architecture, application modernization, and data integration, along with an understanding of agentic AI design principles. This position will also play a critical role in designing and implementing data pipelines to migrate and integrate information from legacy application databases into modern cloud-based data stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the modernization of a legacy .NET and AngularJS application into a scalable, cloud-native solution.
• Design and implement modern application architectures leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and capabilities to accelerate application development and modernization.
• Design application architecture that supports an AI agent capable of answering end-user questions within the application.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain cloud-based application functionality and supporting infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and implement data pipelines to migrate and integrate data from legacy databases into modern cloud data stores.
• Apply cloud architecture principles and industry best practices to ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Support integration between legacy application components, databases, and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Provide advanced .NET architecture expertise to guide application modernization and solution design.
• Incorporate agentic AI design principles into application architecture and development activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, optimization, and ongoing improvements throughout the modernization lifecycle. Minimum Qualifications
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): 7-10 years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, and application development. * .NET Architecture: 7-10 years of experience designing, developing, and modernizing .NET applications.
• Agentic Design: 3-5 years of experience with AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation, or agent-based application design.
• Demonstrated experience modernizing legacy applications into scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions.
• Strong proficiency in .NET technologies, including application architecture, development, integration, and modernization.
• Experience working with AngularJS and transitioning legacy applications to modern frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing AI-enabled application capabilities, including intelligent agents and AI-assisted functionality.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to migrate and integrate data between legacy databases and modern cloud-based data stores.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, cloud infrastructure, application integration, and modern software development practices.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, automation, and solution delivery.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess a Secret security clearance.
• Must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and be available to work in a hybrid environment.
