Job Description

Contract SC Database Administrator
Barrow-in-Furness - Full onsite initially
3 months + potential extension

Up to £530 p/d Inside IR35

I am currently looking for a security cleared Database Administrator with extensive SQL, Solaris and DBA experience. There will be a mix of both business as usual and project based Database work including the below key skills;

  • Oracle
  • SQL Server
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • Solaris/Unix environments

You'll be responsible for:

  • Completing database tasks within agreed timescales
  • Supporting project delivery and Project Managers
  • Database administration across BAU and project activities
  • Working independently and as part of a wider team
  • Producing clear technical documentation
  • Providing strong customer-facing support
  • Occasional UK travel where required
  • Oracle or Microsoft certification is desirable.
