Field Service Engineer

Now Hiring Field Service Engineer - Direct Hire
Location: Greater Philadelphia, PA
Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 annually + bonus potential
Travel: Up to 50%

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission industrial automation and control systems


• Troubleshoot PLC, DCS, networking, and system integration issues


• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on customer equipment


• Support hardware installation, instrumentation wiring, loop checks, and startup activities


• Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project records


• Deliver customer training and technical presentations


• Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex issues


• Travel to customer sites and provide occasional after-hours support as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience


• Minimum 2 years of experience with process control systems


• Hands-on experience with PLCs, DCS platforms, and industrial networking


• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
