Registered Nurse (RN) PACU PRN

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced PACU RN for a PRN (as needed schedule) covering 0545 to1815; 1 shift per week and 2 on-call shifts per six-week schedule required.

Located in western Fairfax County, IFOH's Pre-op has 20 bay unit that runs from 0545-1815 daily and the PACU has 26 bays that run from 0730-2230 daily M-F offering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties, including spine; joint replacement; retina; breast; gynecology; general; and bariatric weight loss. We perform over 10,000 surgical cases annually using some of the most advanced technology such as Stryker Mako Robotic-Assisted Joint Procedures, Globus Excelsius Robotic Spine Navigation Platform, OrthAlign Precision Navigation and Medtronic StealthStation Navigation. The units are covered with on-call coverage 2000-0730 M-F, weekend and holidays.

RN PACU Qualifications:

• One year of PACU or CC nursing (ICU or ED) experience is required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).

RN PACU PRN Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of PACU experience to include PreOp, phase 1 and 2 recovery experience
