Patient Monitor

• Location: Wichita, KS
• Facility: Via Christi Hospital, St. Francis
• Department: Central Monitoring
• Schedule: Night Shift | Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 7pm-7am, rotating weekends

• Continuously monitor patient status through central video surveillance systems to maintain a safe care environment.
• Engage directly with patients via two-way audio devices to offer guidance, reassurance and clear instructions.
• Promptly alert nursing and clinical staff regarding any critical changes in patient condition or potential safety risks.
• Accurately document patient activities, behavioral observations and safety interventions to support the care team.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Preferred Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

• Minimum of six months of experience as a CNA, PCT, HHA, or CMA.
• Strong administrative, computer, and customer service skills.
