Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) – Banking

Job Overview

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with strong banking/financial services experience and hands-on expertise in software engineering, cloud, APIs, data, and AI/LLM solutions. The FDE will work directly with banking clients to understand business problems, design solutions, and deploy production-ready AI and automation applications.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with banking clients to gather requirements and solve complex technical problems.
• Design and deploy AI/LLM solutions, RAG, tool calling, evaluation, observability, and security controls.
• Build integrations using Python, SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Convert business requirements into solution designs, technical roadmaps, and delivery plans.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, Data, Compliance, and Business teams.
• Manage priorities and clearly communicate technical risks and trade-offs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in Software Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or FDE roles.
• Mandatory Banking / Financial Services experience.
• Strong hands-on Python, SQL, APIs, Cloud, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience building and deploying AI/LLM applications and RAG solutions.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments.

Preferred

• Data platforms, data governance, MLOps/LLMOps.
• Private cloud, on-premises, or air-gapped environments.
• Banking modernization or AI transformation experience.
• Knowledge of banking domains such as risk, lending, payments, fraud, compliance, or financial data.
