TITLE FORWARD DEPLOYED ENGINEER

Role & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical lead deployed at a top hedge fund client located in New York
• Create POCs and UI as needed ad hoc in TypeScript.
• Team Lead and mentor a team of AI Engineers onsite at the client s offices
• Oversee AI deployment, implementation, and ongoing optimization and production-level agents; focus on productionizing in a high-stakes financial environment
• Act as the key liaison between the AI company and senior stakeholders at the hedge fund be a person with a big personality, friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership while contributing to architecture and problem-solving, and do so in a charismatic way; have something extra (a podcast/substack / anything)
• Navigate complex client environments with professionalism and strong communication, and a big personality.

Requirements:

• Deep experience in Agentic AI in production environments
• Hands-on coding in TypeScript someone who can create UI on the fly.
• Hands-on coding in Python / be a developer.
• Knows Eval *testing environment to measure how well an AI performs
• Experience productionalizing AI Agents
• Proven team lead experience
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills/charisma
• Prior experience in the financial industry (hedge fund strong plus), but any front office is good.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in NYC

8-12 years of experience.
