Registered Nurse Wound Care

• Location: Evansville, IN
• Facility: Ascension St. Vincent
• Department/Specialty: Wound Care
• Schedule: Day Shift (8:00am - 4:30pm) l Full-time

• Deliver specialized wound care by implementing and adapting personalized treatment plans to accelerate healing and enhance quality of life.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to ensure advanced therapies, specialty consults and patient goals stay fully aligned.
• Assess ongoing healing progress by evaluating skin and tissue conditions in real-time to adjust care protocols promptly.
• Empower home management and discharge by educating patients and families on proper dressing changes, infection prevention and long-term recovery strategies.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Additional Preferences:

Wound care experience preferred.
