Systems Administrator

Description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to play a key role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing our client's enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, improving automation, and helping drive modernization across cloud and on-premises systems.
Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Manage endpoint deployment, configuration, compliance, and lifecycle management using Microsoft Intune and MDM solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Support and administer Linux servers for application hosting, monitoring, and system maintenance.
• Implement and maintain security controls across the environment, including MFA, Conditional Access, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and identity governance.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security utilizing enterprise monitoring and logging tools.
• Participate in security audits, risk assessments, incident response, and remediation efforts.
• Manage user provisioning, access control, and role-based security policies.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and technical standards.
• Support infrastructure projects including migrations, upgrades, cloud adoption initiatives, and automation efforts.
• Collaborate with vendors, business stakeholders, and internal IT teams to resolve issues and implement new technologies.

Requirements

• Experience in systems administration within a Microsoft-centric environment.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments and identity management.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server administration.
• Experience securing enterprise environments through MFA, Conditional Access, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
• Working knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu, Red Hat, Rocky Linux, or similar).
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
