Infor M3 CPQ Developer

Title: Senior Developer- Infor CPQ Developer.

Location: Reading,PA; Reading, PA- Ideal is local to Reading, PA- this is not likely! So, you can look at anywhere in the US. 

Location and Onsite Expectations: preference for candidates local to Reading, Pennsylvania, with the expectation of initial onsite presence for onboarding and periodic in-office attendance for major meetings, though fully remote candidates would be considered if necessary.

Contract Duration and Conversion: contract engagements would typically start with a three-month period to assess fit and skills, with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment if the candidate meets expectations.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and redesign existing Infor CPQ rule sets to improve scalability, maintainability, and long-term supportability.

Re-architect complex product configuration logic into modular, reusable, and extensible rule frameworks.

Support and enhance integrations between Infor CPQ and Infor M3 ERP.

Design and implement connections to external data sources using APIs, web services, and database integrations.

Automate data retrieval processes to ensure CPQ configurations are utilizing accurate and current business data.

Evaluate current CPQ processes and identify opportunities to improve product launch efficiency and reduce regression testing efforts.

Work closely with business stakeholders, product design teams, and technical teams to translate requirements into effective CPQ solutions.

Interpret incomplete or poorly documented specifications and independently drive requirements clarification.

Perform unit testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure configuration accuracy and business rule compliance.

Document architecture, configuration standards, and best practices for future development and support.

Required Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience with Infor CPQ (Configure Price Quote).

Experience integrating Infor CPQ with Infor M3 ERP.

Strong expertise designing, maintaining, and re-architecting complex CPQ rule sets.

Experience integrating CPQ solutions with external data sources through:

APIs

Web Services

SQL-based data sources

Strong understanding of data structures, product configuration logic, and enterprise application integrations.

Proven ability to create modular and maintainable configuration frameworks that support ongoing product expansion.

Experience performing system analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.

Strong troubleshooting, testing, and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal documentation and ambiguous business requirements.
