Site Engineer

Site Engineer – HS2 (Major Earthworks Contractor) Location: Aylesbury<br />Package: Excellent salary + uplift + accommodation/travel support + benefits<br />The Role You will support large‑scale earthworks delivery on HS2, including bulk excavation, haul roads, drainage, structures, and temporary works. This is a hands‑on engineering role with strong progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Setting‑out for earthworks, drainage, utilities, and structures
• Daily QA checks, ITPs, as‑built records, and technical documentation
• Supporting Section Engineers/Sub Agents with planning and coordination
• Working closely with survey teams and GPS machine control systems
• Ensuring compliance with HS2 specifications, environmental controls, and safety standards
• Contributing to progress reporting and short‑term planning Requirements
• Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or similar
• Experience in earthworks, highways, or heavy civils
• Strong understanding of digital engineering and GPS equipment
• Ability to work across multiple work fronts in a fast‑paced environment
