Position Summary

Credence has an immediate need for a Logistics Manager - Depot Maintenance Planning Support at the senior level to support HQ AFMC A4FD at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. 

The Headquarters Air Force Material Command Directorate of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection, and Nuclear Integration (HQ AFMC/A4/10) has the AFMC mission responsibility to: shape the workforce and infrastructure to provide logistics, sustainment, and installation support for acquisition logistics, supply management, depot maintenance, and base-level logistics operations, and deliver responsive strategic facility and infrastructure oversight and over-arching direction for all Major Command (MAJCOM) security operations…resulting in war-winning expeditionary capabilities. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

• Assist with depot maintenance (DM) workload forecasting, including processing source-of-repair decisions by gathering and reviewing inputs from internal Air Force customers and sister-Service members and preparing packages for leadership approval.
• Document decisions in the Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) Automated Management System (AMS) and track associated depot activation activities through supporting working groups; support Public-Private Partnering development and issue periodic reviews or other taskings until capability is established, verified, documented, and uploaded in DSOR AMS.
• Review capability establishment, ensure alignment with authorized decisions, and recommend corrective action for identified disconnects.
• Assist the U.S. Government (USG) in ensuring funded workloads are forecasted annually and adequately supported through depot capability and manpower plans.
• Assist the USG with drafting documentation to support staffing and with writing and reviewing plans and policies.
• Assist the USG with tracking budget execution and financial performance, including customer order variations, capacity availability, and carryover positions.
• Assess and prepare charts on DM metrics for review and action in required taskings and forums such as the AFSC Corporate Board, AFLCMC Product Support Integration Council (PSIC), Product Support Steering Board (PSSB), AF Day at the DoD Maintenance Symposium, and meetings with HQ AFMC leadership.
• Assist HQ AFMC/A4/10 with the preparation, review, coordination, staffing, and defense of manpower and capability planning requirements, requirement validation, and decision packages associated with DM processes using documented decisions and current and future projected workload forecasting techniques and tools.
• Assist with developing training on DM processes and delivering training to applicable personnel.
• Assist with process-problem identification, root-cause analysis, and development of solution and mitigation strategies for implementation.
• Access and use existing information and data infrastructure to track and analyze the operational effectiveness of the organic DM program.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations to assist HQ AFMC/A4/10 in implementing improved monitoring and tracking methods and developing metrics that accurately document and report program status.
• Review, analyze, validate, and report metrics associated with organic DM logistical support to customers, MAJCOMs, Air Staff, and the DoW/DoD.

• Must have an active or current Secret security clearance (or higher), verifiable in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
• Experience working with depot maintenance (DM) metrics, data analysis, and existing data infrastructure to track and determine the operational effectiveness of organic DM.
• Advanced degree (MA/MS) and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline, with applicable certifications as described in the labor-category performance requirements;
• ORbachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline, with applicable certifications as described in the labor-category performance requirements;
• OR fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, with applicable certifications as described in the labor-category performance requirements.
