Hire and Sales Coordinator

Berry Recruitment are recruiting for a Hire and Sales Co-ordinator to support a successful client in Bury St Edmunds.

For this role, you will provide a prompt and efficient service to customers, ensuring all administration is completed accurately and on time. You will play a key role in maximising revenue through effective equipment management and add-on sales, while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and customers.

Your duties will include:

Handling all telephone enquiries and orders from customers and providing accurate equipment information

Liaise with the Workshop and Drivers to ensure equipment availability and timely delivery and coordinate drivers for efficient delivery and collection of equipment.

Process on-hires, off-hires, and exchanges using Smart Office and using Smart Office for purchasing, equipment searches, internal transfers, stock control, and customer enquiries.

Actively sell consumables to meet monthly revenue targets for purchasing, equipment searches, internal transfers, stock control, and customer enquiries.

Report any customer rate or agreement issues to GM, sales admin, and Account Manager for resolution and assist GM and credit control with resolving invoice queries.

Key Skills Required:

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Smart Office or similar systems.

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Hours: Monday to Friday. 7:30am until 4:30pm.

Salary: Between 28,500 and 30,000 per annum.
