Job Description

This Position is Subject to Contract Award OBXtek is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer (Pacific Region). In support of a Network Engineers and Specialists Support (NE&S) project for DHA.

Position Description

  • Provide senior technical leadership for LAN/WLAN/WAN operations across the Pacific region.
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for network configuration, performance, and security.
  • Lead resolution of complex outages and enterprise connectivity issues.
  • Enforce DHA and regional network standards and policies.
  • Support RMF technical documentation, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities.
  • Provide briefings and recommendations to Government leadership.

Work Location

  • Primary Location: OCONUS – Pacific Region
  • Work Model: Regional support with frequent on‑site presence
  • Coverage Area: Pacific‑aligned DHA MTFs and GSUs
Travel Requirements:
  • Regular OCONUS travel required throughout the Pacific region.
  • Frequent site visits to geographically dispersed facilities.
  • Emergency and after‑hours travel required to support outages and high‑priority incidents.
  • Eligible for Overseas Housing Allowance (OHA) when assigned to qualifying locations. Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
OR technical training with extended experience.
Experience
  • Minimum 5–10 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting OCONUS DoD networks.
  • Strong background in Cisco, monitoring tools, and Zero Trust implementations.
  • Exprience with OTDR and Cable Testing. Certifications
  • IAM Level III
  • CCNP – Required
