• We are looking for a hands-on BI Platform Operations Engineer to provide production operational support, administration, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting for our enterprise Business Intelligence platforms and associated AWS services.
\n
• This role will primarily support Tableau and Amazon QuickSight/Amazon QuickSight Suite, including a custom BI-as-a-Service (BIaaS) platform built on Amazon QuickSight.
\n
• The BIaaS platform consists of multiple backend services, RESTful APIs, AWS serverless and data services, and a web-based user interface.
\n
• This is primarily a platform engineering and production support role, rather than a dashboard/report development position.
\n
• The successful candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting across BI, application, API, data, AI-assisted analytics, and cloud infrastructure layers and working with engineering teams to maintain a reliable and stable production service.

• Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise BI platforms in production environments.
\n
• Strong experience with Tableau Server administration and operational support.
\n
• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight administration, authoring, and production support.
\n
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting QuickSight Analyses, Dashboards, Datasets, Data Sources, Themes, Folders, Templates, permissions, and related assets.
\n
• Experience troubleshooting SPICE ingestion, dataset refreshes, direct queries, data-source connectivity, dashboard publishing, sharing, and access issues.
\n
• Experience with Amazon QuickSight APIs / AWS SDKs, including programmatic management of QuickSight assets and permissions.
\n
• Working knowledge of Amazon Athena and troubleshooting Athena-based BI workloads.
\n
• Working knowledge of the AWS Glue Data Catalog, including databases, tables, schemas, partitions, and metadata.
\n
• Understanding of AWS Lake Formation, particularly permissions and data-access management.
\n
• Experience with AWS Lambda and troubleshooting serverless application components.
\n
• Experience with Amazon API Gateway, particularly Lambda integrations and REST APIs.
\n
• Strong understanding of RESTful API concepts and experience troubleshooting API integrations.
\n
• Hands-on experience with Amazon CloudWatch, including logs, metrics, dashboards, and alarms.
\n
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM, roles, policies, permissions, and service-to-service access.
\n
• Experience troubleshooting BI platform infrastructure, data connectivity, authentication, authorization, permissions, and performance issues.
\n
• Ability to analyze application, server, API, Lambda, and AWS service logs to troubleshoot issues across multiple technology layers.
\n
• Experience with production incident management, problem management, and root-cause analysis.
\n
• Experience with scripting or automation using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, AWS CLI, or similar tools.
\n
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
\n

• Experience or familiarity with Amazon Q in QuickSight / Quick Suite, including conversational and generative BI capabilities.
\n
• Experience with Amazon Q Topics and semantic configuration for natural-language analytics.
\n
• Familiarity with Quick Suite agents, chat/agent experiences, and Spaces.
\n
• Understanding of modern web applications and experience with Angular, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
\n
• Experience operating a BI Platform-as-a-Service or BI-as-a-Service environment.
\n
• Experience supporting custom applications built around Amazon QuickSight APIs.

• Experience with embedded QuickSight and programmatic dashboard or asset management.
\n
• Experience troubleshooting end-to-end data flows involving QuickSight, Athena, Glue Data Catalog, Lake Formation, S3, and IAM.

• Experience supporting serverless architectures involving API Gateway and Lambda.
\n
• Experience with Tableau Server infrastructure upgrades, backup/restore, monitoring, and performance tuning.
\n
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.
\n
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployment practices.
\n
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change-management practices.
\n
• Experience supporting enterprise environments with strong security, governance, and access-control requirements.
