Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Program Manager to lead enterprise cybersecurity, network modernization, data center transformation, and infrastructure integration initiatives. This individual will serve as the primary coordinator across engineering, security, infrastructure, application, operations, and vendor teams to ensure complex technology programs are planned, sequenced, communicated, and executed successfully.
This is not a hands-on engineering role. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating realistic project plans, managing risks and dependencies, coordinating impacted stakeholders, driving milestone achievement, facilitating change activities, and ensuring successful delivery of infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in project and program management combined with enough networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data center knowledge to effectively challenge assumptions, identify dependencies, and drive delivery across technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Leadership
- Lead large-scale infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives from planning through operational handoff.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependency maps.
- Establish governance structures, communication plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, application support, operations, vendors, and system integrators.
- Facilitate project status meetings, readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, escalations, and stakeholder updates.
- Drive accountability across technical workstreams while managing overall program delivery.
Risk & Change Management
- Identify, document, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Develop mitigation strategies and escalation paths.
- Coordinate enterprise change activities and maintenance windows.
- Ensure impacted teams receive appropriate notifications and communications.
- Manage implementation readiness, validation, rollback planning, and operational acceptance.
Infrastructure & Security Transformation
- Support network modernization and infrastructure refresh programs.
- Coordinate data center transformation and migration initiatives.
- Lead IP addressing, subnet migration, DNS, and infrastructure integration projects.
- Support enterprise cybersecurity initiatives including Zero Trust, segmentation, observability, and security-tool deployments.
- Coordinate network hardware refreshes and migration programs involving multiple technical teams and vendors.
- Partner with engineering teams to validate implementation sequencing and technical dependencies.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central point of coordination between business and technology teams.
- Present project updates, risks, milestones, and decisions to leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships and implementation partners.
- Ensure application owners, operations teams, and business stakeholders remain informed throughout project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Infrastructure Program Management, Technical Program Management, or Enterprise Project Management experience.
- Experience leading infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, cloud, or data center transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, PMI, and ITIL frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience managing:
- Risks and issue logs
- Dependency tracking
- Executive reporting
- Change management
- Stakeholder communications
- Governance processes
- Implementation readiness reviews
- Experience coordinating large cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
