Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant with 8-10 years of ERP consulting experience and strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The candidate will be responsible for leading finance workstreams, conducting business process analysis, configuring D365 Finance modules, driving solution design, supporting testing and deployment activities, and working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting and finance domain knowledge along with hands on experience in multiple end-to end D365 F&O implementation, upgrade, or support projects.

Key Responsibilities Functional Consulting & Solution Design

• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and business process assessments.
• Perform Fit Gap Analysis and recommend industry best practice solutions.
• Translate business requirements into Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
• Design and configure Finance modules within D365 F&O.
• Lead solution walkthroughs and obtain stakeholder sign-offs.

Implementation & Delivery

• Configure system parameters and finance setups.
• Support end to end implementation lifecycle including:
  • Discovery
  • Design
  • Configuration
  • Testing
  • Deployment
  • Hypercare Support
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, customizations, workflows, and reporting solutions.
• Support data migration strategy, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Drive SIT, UAT, and regression testing activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted advisor for client finance stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, solution reviews, and executive discussions.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams including SCM, Project Operations, Technical, Integration, and Reporting teams.
• Provide user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Perform root cause analysis of finance related issues.
• Support release management and system enhancements.
• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Assist in post go live stabilization and support activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience

• 8-10 years of ERP consulting experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands on D365 F&O Finance experience.
• At least 3 full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations.
• Experience in global rollout, support, or transformation programs preferred.

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Expertise in Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), Record to Report (R2R), and Fixed Asset lifecycle processes.
• Understanding of intercompany transactions and multi entity environments.
• Experience with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
• Experience with:
  • Power BI
  • Electronic Reporting (ER)
  • Dual Write
  • Data Management Framework (DMF)
  • Azure DevOps
  • Lifecycle Services (LCS)
• Exposure to global implementations across multiple legal entities and countries.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Distribution, or Professional Services industries.

Nice to Have

• D365 Project Operations Finance exposure.
• Treasury Management experience.
• Advanced Financial Reporting.
• Tax engine integrations.
• Electronic Invoicing implementations.
• Presales, solution estimation, and proposal support experience.

Salary Range:>$100,000
