Sales Engineer

About the Role

Join an AI company serving the insurance and brokerage sector as a hands-on technical partner to Sales, Product, Engineering, and customers. You will help prospects understand the platform's value and turn insurance workflows into practical, customer-specific agent deployments.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Sales to design and deliver customer pilots that demonstrate the platform's value to prospects.

• Translate insurance workflows into extensible Python scripts and agent skills, and own the technical architecture for customer deployments.

• Configure and validate integrations with agency management systems, CRMs, carrier portals, and other data sources.

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and deployments through activation, supporting user enablement and adoption.

• Share customer feedback with Product and Engineering to inform product direction.

• Improve the deployment playbook so lessons from customer work can be reused across future engagements.

What We're Looking For

• Two to six years of experience in a pre-sales technical role, such as Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer, working with account executives to support discovery, demos, and pilots.

• Hands-on experience explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical buyers and executives.

• Proficiency in Python, with experience writing scripts and configuring APIs or integrations, including CRMs and data sources.

• Regular use of AI coding tools in day-to-day technical work.

• Experience owning technical work across multiple concurrent accounts or opportunities.

• Background in B2B SaaS or AI, ideally in a startup or fast-paced product environment; insurance, brokerage, or vertical SaaS experience is valuable.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $150,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
